A sad day saying goodbye to our wonderful broodmare Annalta, sadly Anna had lost too many teeth and it was becoming too much for her to manage. What a beautiful and wonderful mare, she gave us many super offspring to keep her memory going. We had 15yrs with Anna and she was so loved. RIP my beautiful soul.

A super day for our foals at the Elite Foal Tour held at Twemlows Stud. Both boys behaved impeccably and came home with super scores of 8 and 8.3 so qualified to attend the AES Elite Auction next month.
The standard this year was exceptionally high with the top scoring foal at 8.6 so ours were in the top foals of the day.

Penhaligon Landau (Eddie) had an amazing day winning his novice freestyle with 71.67% and also the Elementary freestyle with a super 73.08% winning the class by over 3%, well done Melissa and Eddie.
Our mare Annalta's son Brazil had a successful day at the Area Festival with a super 3rd in his medium test, well done Brazil and Lauren.
Penhaligon Condoleeza (Nina) had a super day at Netley Hall with a double clear with Dom Branch.

Today we said goodnight to our once in a lifetime horse. Chloe came to us as a youthful 16yr old, we had 8 wonderful years with her. She had been a Grade A jumper in her day, turning to hunting later in life, she was the best hunter we could have dreamt of, she gave Pete many fantastic seasons fun and even I took her hunting a couple of times, she looked after us and knew the job inside out. Hunting was what she lived for, on a hunting morning she would tremble with excitement and never needed loading on the trailer, she would load herself!!.
Not only a dream hunter but also a gentle kind mare who looked after the kids who rode her, my nieces Poppy and Millie had many hours of fun riding her when they were young and she took such good care of them. She turned her hoof to any job and put her heart and soul into everything she did, she was beautifully schooled and did very well at dressage at local level. She had so much fun on beach rides at Ynyslas where she had such a big smile on her face, she has given so many people so many lovely memories to treasure. Chloe was not just a horse but a best friend who had a great sense of humour and a very cheeky side to her but always kind, honest and loving. We are so grateful to Graham and Michelle Burnip for letting us have her, she was a true diamond and will be remembered forever. Thanks for the wonderful memories Chloe, sleep tight xxxx
